Who we are

BVD International Inc, a company incorporated in Barbados, is the regional distributor in the Caribbean for leading professional audio and video brands. We combine deep product knowledge with technical expertise to deliver complete solutions across commercial, conferencing, broadcast and performance applications.

Serving audiovisual systems integrators

The extensive skills and experience we hold are not common in our target market, the Caribbean islands. Our business model is to operate as a product distributor with many value-added services. Central to our strategy is a firm commitment to our clients, who are systems integrators: we will never sell products directly to end users, and we will never engage in integration ourselves.

We operate purely as a supplier of products, along with all the technical support required, to audiovisual integrators. We conduct marketing to vertical markets for brand awareness, but only to stimulate sales for our integration clients.

Specialist consultant services are costly, yet relying on a single systems integrator can tie the client to that company’s products and methods.

BVD International offers a full system design service, as well as preparation of generic system specifications, so a client can call for comparable proposals from several vendors — with no obligation to any vendor, nor to BVD International. We recognise the systems integrator is vital to any successful project, and so we will never bid on the total solution to the end user; instead we support and supply the integrators invited to bid.
